University Auditorium and the Friends of Music Room, located at the heart
of campus, were completed in the mid-1920s and renovated in 1976.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the auditorium remains
an important gathering place on campus and is used for concerts, lectures,
guest speakers and more. It also houses the Anderson Memorial Pipe
Organ, which is one of the 10 largest in the Southeast.
