For more than 80 years, Gator Growl has helped commemorate UF’s Homecoming
celebration. This pep rally attracts more than 40,000 rowdy Gator fans as well as
national headliners, including Frank Caliendo, Dana Carvey, and Aziz Ansari. There
have even been performances by Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Jabbawockeez, and O.A.R.
Today, Gator Growl remains a powerful fixture at UF and is held annually at Ben Hill
Griffin Stadium on the Friday night of Homecoming Weekend.
