UF Libraries
A quiet spot to
study in style
Since UF’s first library opened in a small room in Thomas Hall,
students have been gathering en masse at these study centers.
Today the libraries of the University of Florida are the largest
information resource system in the state, containing more than 5.6
million catalogued volumes, more than 7.9 million microfilms, close
to 2 million documents, 550,000 maps and images, and 453,000
e-books in 12 locations across campus.
