eing a Florida Gator is not just about
attending UF. When you’re sitting inside the
Swamp with 90,000 people, feeling your seat shake
as the crowd erupts and your heart beats in time to
the Gator Chomp — that is when you know you
are part of the Gator Nation.
As UF students, we are passionate about the
community. We are motivated, involved, and
ambitious. We strive to make the world a better
place by using our talents and gifts to their fullest
extent. We set ourselves apart from the crowd,
not only with the vibrant orange and blue we
proudly wear, but also through our leadership,
poise and excellence. To be a UF student is to
join a family of 350,000 alumni. To join the
Gator Nation is to join an unequaled tradition
more than 150 years in the making.
