Congratulations,
As a new University of Florida student, you join one of the most talented and
accomplished entering classes in the history of our university. You’re also now “officially”
a Florida Gator and a member of the Gator Nation.
Everywhere you look, Gators are striving to strengthen our nation and our world.
Whether they’re seeking to breed more nutritious and healthier crops, coming up with
new energy technologies or teaching underprivileged students, Gators influence every
area of business, science and society. You will join their ranks as alumni, but first you are
in store for one of the nation’s best and most memorable college experiences.
You’ll be challenged academically like never before, and you’ll make some of your most
lasting friendships. You’ll pursue any number of academic and recreational activities,
and you’ll revel in the achievements of an outstanding athletic program. With all that in
mind, we present you with this

your rich experiences here at UF.
There is an unbreakable bond that holds the Gator Nation together, and that bond will
grow as you move through these next few years. You have a lot ahead of you. As a Florida
