Event Description

Register is $80 for UF Alumni Association members and $120 for non-members (non-member registration includes an annual membership in the UFAA).

Friday, October 17, 2014

12:00 noon - Homecoming Parade
Parade Route goes through University Ave Join the ABA for fun and fellowship at the IBC to watch the parade along University Avenue.

12:00 noon - IBC Open House Institute of Black Culture Come by the IBC to watch the parade and enjoy a meet and greet with alumni and students.

5:00 pm - Gator Growl Flavet Field Enjoy the hospitality tent prior to Growl with alumni and friends. Your registration to the weekend includes access to the food and drink at the hospitality tent, and a premium bleacher seat for the Gator Growl show. Growl headliners are Ludacris, Foster the People and Brooks Wheelan.

9:30 am - ABA Community Service Project St. Francis House, 413 S. Main Street, Gainesville.
The mission of the St. Francis House is to emphasize food services, housing and case management to address problems related to homelessness in Gainesville. Volunteers are asked to wear our 2014 Black Alumni Weekend T-Shirts.

3 hours prior to kickoff - Gator Nation Tailgates Emerson Alumni Hall- Warrington Room
Join the ABA for a pre-game tailgate at Emerson Alumni Hall, just steps from the Swamp. Your registration also includes admission to the tailgate, and access to the reserved room for the ABA with food and a drink ticket. Enjoy the tailgate experience with UFAA and check out other national and SEC games, spend time with friends, and experience the Gator Walk prior to kickoff.

Your registration includes premium seating tickets and access to the UFAA’s hospitality tent at Gator Growl. It also includes access to a reserved room, food, and a drink ticket at the Gator Nation Tailgate on Saturday. All other events, football tickets, and activities during homecoming weekend must be acquired separately. To purchase tickets to the Missouri vs. Florida game, please contact Shirley Lynn at slynn@ufalumni.ufl.edu.
