Keep UF Traditions Sacred,
Become a UF Tradition Keeper (UF TK)
UF is steeped in rich, decades-old traditions that define what it means to be a Gator.
This book will help you make the most of your college experience by fully engaging
in these traditions – both long-standing and recent. The
F Book
is meant to be your
Gator scrapbook, where you can track the traditions in which you participate.
The more you do, the more you find the
Gator in You. Here’s how you can join tens
of thousands of UF Tradition Keepers:
STEP 1:
Become a student member of
the UFAA, and you will have completed
your first tradition.
STEP 2:
Simply complete the other
traditions listed in Chapter 5 of this
book. Take a picture of yourself doing
the activity or obtain proof of completing
the tradition (i.e., ticket stub) and attach
it to the Personal Tradition section within
this book.
STEP 3:
Bring your
F Book
to Emerson
Alumni Hall on a Tradition Keeper login
day for it to be stamped. You will receive
lapel pins and/or medallion based on
how many traditions you complete:
Complete any 10 traditions to become
an “Orange Tradition Keeper” and
receive an orange lapel pin.
Complete any 20 traditions to
become a “Blue Tradition Keeper”
and receive a blue lapel pin.
Complete any 30 traditions to
become a “Silver Tradition Keeper”
and receive a silver lapel pin.
FINAL STEP:
Go for the gold!
Complete 40 traditions to become
a “Golden University of Florida
Tradition Keeper” and receive a gold
UF TK medallion for graduation.
Yes, it’s that simple – and that much fun.
So make your college years count.
Make them fun. Make them memorable.
Make them all about the
Gator in You.
Get started by joining
10,000 other student
members of the
