The Box
When you join the SAA, you'll receive "The Box". It's full of SAA memorabilia like the official SAA
T-Shirt and other exclusive prizes and coupons from local businesses. "The Box" is made from 100%
recycled material and is also a way for us to "Go Green". After joining we request that you fill
"The Box" with items for our soldiers overseas and return it to Emerson Alumni Hall. Boxes are mailed
to the troops approximately every 3 months.
SAA T-Shirt Days
SAA T-Shirt Days are sponsored by JanSport. On selected T-Shirt days, you might get caught by the SAA
Sneak Attack Squad and win a FREE JanSport backpack just for wearing your T-shirt on campus!
The Card
All members will be mailed a membership card after joining. Taking advantage of all the benefits is as
easy as showing your card, don't leave home without it.
BEAT T-Shirts
Sponsored by Herff Jones and with the help of Shelly Meyer (Coach Meyer's wife), BEAT T-shirts have
become a new UF Tradition. Available only to SAA members, BEAT T-shirts for all home football games
(and Georgia) are given away to the first 1500 members one of the weekdays before each home game.
Annual Wall Calendar
The University of Florida Alumni Association wall calendar is mailed to members of the UF Alumni
Association and Student Alumni Association each year.
Associations
Florida Cicerones
The Florida Cicerones serve as the official student ambassadors to the University of Florida. Their
responsibilities include giving tours to prospective students, working with the UF Alumni Association,
recruiting football players, representing the University of Florida President, governing SAA and
serving in a variety of other roles. In order to apply to be a member of the Florida Cicerones, you
must first become a member of the SAA.

Gator Clubs®
When you join SAA you will automatically become a member of your hometown Gator Club®. There are
approximately 100 Gator Clubs® worldwide. Each club is unique and strives to meet the needs of
memnbers in a particular area. Many clubs offer a wide range of programming that includes scholarship
fundraising and cultural, academic, atheltic and recreational activies. For more information visit

Events
Distinguished Gator Series
Available to SAA members only, the Distinguished Gator Series connects current students with prestigious
alumni. Alumni discuss how their university experience shaped their careers and why staying connected
to their alma mater is so important. Students will also have the unique opportunity to ask questions
and mingle with our featured guest.
AlumNights
AlumNights is a program that provides you with networking opportunities to meet successful graduates of
your college. SAA members enjoy food and refreshments along with the unique opportunity to speak
directly to alumni about their experiences at UF and the ways in which they navigated the job market
after graduation.
Dinner With 12 Strangers
The Dinner with 12 Strangers program is based on a simple idea. Local alumni host dinners in their homes
for students, faculty and fellow alumni in an effort to make UF a smaller, friendlier place. Dinners
range from catered affairs to simple buffets to home-cooked fare. So, you'll have the opportunity
to make new friends and valuable connections.
SAA Socials
SAA offers multiple social events because sometimes you just want to have fun! Some examples are the
Freshman Welcome Reception, Stress Relivers and Crusin' to Spring Break.
