Spring 2013 Official Ring Ceremony
The spring semester's Ring Ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2013, at the University Memorial Auditorium.*
The tradition-rich ceremony will include a brief recollection of the ring's history by Cynthia O'Connell, whose husband, former UF President Stephen O'Connell, designed
the ring while a student at the university. There will be an explanation of the ring's symbolism before students are called forward to receive their rings.
A small reception will follow in the Friends of the Music Room. Albert and Alberta will be on hand with their class rings to congratulate students and pose for photos.
Dress for the event is business casual.
*The deadline to order a class ring (in order to participate in the spring Ring Ceremony) was Friday, February 15, 2013.

to recognize each other when we are not wearing our orange and blue. The class ring is available for alumni and students who have completed 60 credit hours at the University
of Florida.
