Spring 2015 UF Ring Ceremony
The ninth annual University of Florida Class Ring Ceremony will take place at Emerson Alumni Hall on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 5:30pm.
The tradition-rich ceremony will include a brief recollection of the ring's history by Cynthia O'Connell, whose husband, former UF President Stephen O'Connell, designed the ring while a student at the university. There will be an explanation of the ring's symbolism before students are called forward to receive their rings.
A short reception will immediately follow the ceremony. Albert and Alberta will be on hand with their class rings to congratulate students and pose for photos. Doors open that evening at 5:00pm and dress for the event is business casual. Invitations are scheduled to be sent to ring recipients in mid-March 2015.
*The deadline to order a class ring (in order to participate in the spring Ring Ceremony) is mid-February 2015.
