Young Alumni career development

The Gainesville Young Alumni Committee hosted its first career development event on March 24 at Emerson Alumni Hall. Attendees had the opportunity to learn from local business leaders and experts. Speakers were Brent Christensen, president and CEO of the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce; Deborah Garvin, master lecturer at the Fisher School of Accounting; and Terry Van Nortwick, president and founder of PRO iNK. Young alumni enjoyed hearing from the panelists, networking and participating in a question-and-answer session.
