Welcome the newest Gators

Three more Gator Hometown Parties are scheduled this summer to welcome the newest additions to The Gator Nation family - the 2008 incoming class. Students and Alumni Association members are invited to celebrate with the newest Gators. The events - hosted by the Alumni Association, Student Alumni Association and area Gator Clubs - are designed to teach new students what it means to be a Gator and to introduce them to current UF students and alumni. The celebrations feature free food, games, prizes and Gator fun.

Remaining Gator Hometown Parties are:

Orlando, July 19, 9 a.m., at Typhoon Lagoon (Walt Disney World)
Atlanta, July 27, 2 p.m., at Georgia Aquarium
Tampa, Aug. 9, 10 a.m., at GameWorks (Centro Ybor)

The Class of 2012 Welcome Reception will be in Gainesville, Aug. 25, 6 p.m., at Emerson Alumni Hall.
