Vote for Stephanie Brombacher for the Lowe’s Senior Class Award
Author: Unknown Publication Date: Tuesday April 19, 2011
Gator softball pitcher Stephanie Brombacher is a finalist for the 2011 Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award, but she needs The Gator Nation’s help to win.
The CLASS award — which stands for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School — is given each year to student-athletes who excel on and off the field. In Brombacher’s case, she has logged 262 community service hours during her UF career, helping create UF’s “Swing for Cancer” event and participating in service activities such as Habitat for Humanity, the Special Olympics and a local holiday charity known as “Miracle on Main Street” — all while maintaining a 3.55 GPA and earning All-America honors two years in a row.
Gators can vote for Brombacher through May 10 at www.seniorclassaward.com/vote/softball_2011/. Fans may vote as many times as they like, but only once each day.
