The UF AHA is still accepting nominations for the "Gran Caimán of the Year" Award

The UF Association of Hispanic Alumni (AHA) is still accepting nominations for the "Gran Caimán of the Year" Award.

The group will be honoring the Gran Caimán during the 8th Annual "Gator Guayabera Guateque" on Saturday, May 14th, 2011 at the beautiful Doral Golf Resort and Spa.

Nominees must be Hispanic alumni who are both great representatives of the university as well as strong contributors to the educational, cultural or social communities in which they participate. The individual should exemplify leadership, integrity and compassion to the people they serve and be loyal and spirited Gators.

How to submit a nomination:

  • Summary of the nominee's background and involvement with the university and community
  • Description of why this individual should be selected for the "Gran Caimán of the Year" Award
