Tee Off Sept. 30 in memory of Charley Pell

The Gainesville Sports Commission has announced that its 22nd annual golf classic will support UF’s Charley Pell Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance to the children of players who were coached by the former UF head football coach. The event, which takes place on the eve of UF’s game against Alabama, will include a number of past UF and Alabama players.
The four-person scramble with shotgun start will take place at the Ironwood Golf Course. Signup is $125 per player, $450 per foursome or $575 per foursome with Green Sponsorship.
