Gators for Higher Ed reflects on 2011 legislative session

Gators for Higher Education recently provided the 2011 Florida legislative session summary. The 2011 legislative session was challenging for UF and the entire state as the Florida House of Representatives and Senate had to cut more than $3 billion in state funds to balance the budget. Despite the reductions, the Legislature continued funding several important programs for UF and approved legislation to benefit the university and Shands.
