Gator Nation Tailgates kick off Sept. 3 at Emerson Alumni Hall

Author: Unknown Publication Date: Thursday August 25, 2011

If you’re coming to Gainesville for football this fall, then stop by Emerson Alumni Hall to tailgate with your fellow Gators.

Gator Nation Tailgates, the indoor/outdoor event that the UFAA hosts before each home game, feature food, face painters, stilt walkers, televised games and more. The tailgates begin three hours prior to kickoff, with the first one taking place Sept. 3 as the Gators take on the Florida Atlantic University Owls.

Admission is free for all UF Alumni Association members. Members may bring guests for $25 each, or memberships are available at the door. To thank you for your membership and support of our Gator Nation Tailgates, all members and all who join or renew at the tailgate, will receive a complimentary drink pass at the first event of the season as we prepare to take on Florida Atlantic University. Children under 18 are welcome to attend at no charge if they are with a parent or guardian.

Don’t want to wait in line? Life members can enjoy “Fast Pass” access by entering through the Welcome Center on the west side of Emerson Alumni Hall.

And be sure to arrive early — for the FAU game, the first 400 members to attend will receive a Gator lapel pin as a thank you.
