Football great Jack Youngblood returns to sign books Nov. 26

Author: Unknown Publication Date: Wednesday November 16, 2011

On Nov. 26, Gator football legend Jack Youngblood will be autographing copies of "Because It Was Sunday," the just-released book chronicling his life. The event will be at the University of Florida Alumni Association Gator Nation Tailgate beginning three hours prior to the Florida State game.

The Youngblood book signing will take place at Emerson Alumni Plaza. The plaza is located at 1938 University Avenue directly across the street from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on the University of Florida campus.

All Gator fans are welcome to stop by to meet Jack Youngblood — member of the NFL Hall of Fame and the Ring of Honor at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium — and purchase a copy of the biography written by sports author D.W. Cooper.

Youngblood will autograph all copies of "Because It Was Sunday" that are sold until just before kickoff. The book provides a detailed and powerful inside look from Youngblood's unique perspective of his upbringing, motivation and all consuming drive that led him to stardom in both Gainesville and then the NFL.

Florida fans who are not attending the Florida State game can order an autographed copy of "Because It Was Sunday" by going to the UFAA home page at www.ufalumni.ufl.edu and clicking on the advertisement for the Jack Youngblood biography.
