Food for thought

The UF Alumni Association, Student Alumni Association and Florida Cicerones recently took part in the "Beat Hunger" food drive competition with the University of Georgia. Students and alumni donated cans of food and financial contributions throughout the month of October, culminating with the Florida/Georgia game.

Not only did the Gators get it done on the field, UF also won the day. Florida collected 1,142 pounds of food and $578, while Georgia collected 250 pounds of food. However, everyone involved in the project is a winner as Gators and Dawgs came together to "Beat Hunger." Thank you to everyone who participated in this friendly competition.
