The UF Alumni Association and Student Alumni Association will compete against the University of Georgia this year to see which school can "BEAT Hunger" through a friendly food drive competition. We want nothing more than to BEAT Hunger… and BEAT Georgia!
BEAT Hunger is a communitywide food drive hosted by the Florida Cicerones/Student Alumni Association. Collected cans will be donated to Bread of the Mighty Food Bank and donations will be distributed to the hungry in the local community. The competition against Georgia will be based on which school raises the most pounds of food. The food drive takes place through Oct. 31, the weekend of the Florida vs. Georgia game in Jacksonville.
Drop off canned food in the collection bins during any Gator Nation tailgate at Emerson Alumni Hall (UF games vs. Kentucky, LSU and Mississippi State) or at Emerson Alumni Hall Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., now through Oct. 31.
