Enjoy an evening of symphonic spirit Oct. 27

Take part in an evening of music and school spirit Thursday when the College of Fine Arts and UF Homecoming present the Swamp Symphony.

The outdoor concert, which will take place from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Flavet Field, will feature performances by the UF Symphony Orchestra, the UF Opera Theatre, the Men’s Glee Club, the UF School of Theater and Dance, the Gator Jazz Band, the Pazeni Sauti Africa Choir, the Sunshine Steelers and the Sidney Lanier School World Music Ensemble.

The public is welcome; admission is free. Families are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and picnic blankets and enjoy the evening.
