Comedian Joel McHale joins Gator Growl’s entertainment lineup

Joel McHale, best known as the acerbic lawyer-in-limbo Jeff Winger on NBC’s “Community” and as host of “The Soup” on E!, will join musical guest the Goo Goo Dolls on Nov. 4 when UF hosts Gator Growl 2011.

McHale is just one of highlights Growl organizers are touting this fall, which marks the Homecoming event’s 88th year. Other highlights include the return of a full fireworks show, the moving of the stage to the east side of the stadium and the reintroduction of a big-name musical act to the lineup.
