Association of Hispanic Alumni calls for leaders

The Association of Hispanic Alumni has opened nominations for all officers, directors (two positions) and committee members. AHA, an official affiliate group of the University of Florida Alumni Association, works to promote UF and support current students. Its signature event, the Gator Guayabera Guateque (GGG), is held in May of each year and raises scholarship dollars for UF students and also funds an endowment in the name of the AHA to sponsor scholarships permanently. Nominations for the following positions will be accepted until Sept. 30: president elect, treasurer, secretary, committee(s) member and committee(s) chairperson/vice-chairperson. AHA will announce the slate during homecoming festivities. AHA is always looking for active and committed volunteers to grow within the group and contribute to AHA and UF through events related to the GGG.
