Agricultural and Life Sciences
The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences is pleased to invite Grand Guard members to the college luncheon. Enjoy great fellowship while
hearing about current student life from CALS Ambassadors and receive updates from the administration about the new and exciting ways IFAS
continues to serve the citizens of Florida through research, extension and academic programs.
Business Administration
The Warrington College of Business Administration and Dean John Kraft invite Grand Guard alumni back to the college for a special luncheon
and to hear from one of our phenomenal professors about some of the exciting things currently taking place in our college.
Design, Construction and Planning
The College of Design, Construction and Planning invites you to a special luncheon with Dean Chris Silver and program directors and chairs.
You will also tour the award-winning LEED Gold-certified Rinker Hall and hear about college and campus sustainability initiatives.
Education
The College of Education welcomes back its Grand Guard! Please join us for lunch and to hear about the latest trends in education. Following
lunch, you will enjoy a performance by the award-winning chorus of the P.K. Yonge Development Research School and have the opportunity to tour
Norman Hall or stay in the Terrace Room and visit with some of the college's faculty and students.
Engineering
The College of Engineering will host the Grand Guard luncheon at Emerson Alumni Hall. The college's dean will present an overview of the college
and update alumni on recent endeavors and accomplishments within the college. Grand Guard members are encouraged to bring along their memories to
share.
Fine Arts
The School of Art and Art History, the School of Music and the School of Theatre and Dance from the College of Fine Arts will host an informal
lunch and provide you with an opportunity to learn about current projects and special programs.
Health and Human Performance
The College of Health and Human Performance invites Grand Guard alumni to a special luncheon in their honor where they will be able to interact
with faculty, administration and students. Our faculty will give an overview of their cutting-edge research and you can your the new facilities,
such as the newly named Eric Friedheim Tourism Institute, Center for Exercise Science and the Center for Digital Health and Wellness, and learn
about special events in the college.
Journalism and Communications
The College of Journalism and Communications extends a hearty welcome to our Grand Guard alumni. Join us for an informal luncheon at Weimer Hall.
Dean John Wright will be on hand to share the latest news and events from the college, while College Ambassadors will speak about how student life
has changed at the University of Florida.
Law
The Levin College of Law invites Grand Guard alumni to an informal lunch with college leaders and emeritus professors. Hear about the current happenings
of the college and enjoy a tour of the facilities, including the new courtroom in the Martin H. Levin Advocacy Center.
Liberal Arts and Sciences
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences welcomes back its Grand Guard alumni. Enjoy a special lunch in your honor and hear about some of the exciting
research currently taking place in our college from one of our outstanding professors.
Medicine
The College of Medicine invites Grand Guard alumni for a special luncheon in their honor, where they will hear the latest news from the college, including
the plans for a new academic building, recent research breakthroughs, and much more.
Nursing
The College of Nursing will host the Grand Guard luncheon in the Health Professions/Nursing/Pharmacy Complex. Dean Kathleen Ann Long, will present an
overview of what's happening at the college. The college luncheon will also feature interaction with faculty, administration and students.
Pharmacy
The College of Pharmacy welcomes back its Grand Guard alumni and invites you to a luncheon with Dean William Riffee. Meet current students and distinguished
professors, tour the pharmacy skills lab and museum, and learn about the programs and events at your college.
Public Health and Health Professions
The College of Public Health and Health Professions is pleased to welcome the Class of 1961, our first group of Grand Guard alumni. As our first graduates,
you helped to lay the foundation for our college's educational programs, which today are among the top ranked in the country. We invite you to attend a special
luncheon in your honor, hosted by Dean Michael G. Perri and featuring retired faculty and current faculty and students. We look forward to hearing your memories
and having the opportunity to share information with you on the college's current education, research and service activities.
