The Young Alumni Council (YAC) serves an important role in the planning of programs for alumni who are age 35 years and younger. The goal of the YAC is to offer a greater variety of activities to young alumni, raise awareness about the UF Alumni Association and increase this group's participation within the Gator Nation.

The success of the council depends largely on the leadership, enthusiasm and dedication provided by the council members. These volunteers generate the initiatives and enthusiasm, while the Alumni Association's staff works diligently to implement the endeavors.
