January 22 - 23, 2010
Emerson Alumni Hall
1938 West University Avenue, Gainesville, FL. 32603
Do you have what it takes? Are you prepared to be the best club officer or volunteer? Can you carry the torch
for UF? Vancouver will host the 2010 winter Olympics but Gainesville will be the host to the 27th annual
Leadership Weekend- complete with talent, teamwork and orange & blue spirit!
We’ve planned an informative and motivational weekend with programming focused on a wide range of issues
pertinent to the club network. You will have the opportunity to hear about the amazing practices and events
that our clubs are excelling in across the country.
We plan to commence Friday morning with the Opening Ceremony and continue through Saturday afternoon’s Closing
Ceremony. The general and breakout sessions will offer stimulating conversations with your colleagues, regional
vice presidents and administration officials. Plan to dress your best while we honor the brightest volunteers
and top clubs during the Clubbies Awards and Recognition show Friday night.
You will have the opportunity to join up again for the UF vs. USC basketball game, Saturday evening. (There
are a limited number of tickets available for purchase in January.)
As always, we hope you’ll meet new people and reconnect with those you already know in a fun and inspirational
environment. We highly recommend the president elect, treasurer and communications officer be in attendance
in order to best be prepared to run a club.
- Online registration will be available November 15, 2009. All registrations need to be submitted online by
Friday, January 15, 2010 (midnight).
- There will NOT be any late registrations taken by phone!
- Again, we are limiting the number of participants/attendees to five (total) per club.
The UF Alumni Association is looking forward to welcoming you back home. Should you have any questions about
registration please contact Chitra Jagarnauth via email at
cjagarnauth@ufalumni.ufl.edu or by phone at 352-846-2870.
See you in Gainesville!
